We stay in Simpson Bay area and brought our own poles and lures with us and fished off the rocks - we only caught little fish that we threw back in,,,including a tiny shark. We hope to do better this year, but plan on driving around the island with our anywhere, it's hit and miss. Just fun to do.
I think there's better fishing just north of Dawn Beach right on the French boarder, but be careful walking out where we were told to go...all alone leaving your car and stuff in your car. We didn't wade out .....too risky. But the locals there were showing off what they caught. Good luck.
