Marble Turtles

In September, we went to the Marigot Flea Market and saw a vendor selling marble turtles of all sizes. Some even came with an egg stand that the turtle sat on. We didn't buy any and now wish we had. Does anyone know the name or the web site for these unique gifts?

Rena R....if you can wait until December, my wife and I will check it out for you. We're there at the market, annually, on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. I know exactly the figures you describe and will get back with you IF you can wait till then. In reality, my wife will do the checking...I'll be working our Ma-do-do order over on the north end of the marketplace...obviously sampling each before the big purchase...too much fun...just too much fun. spike

Rena - sorry I'm so late with this. I was at my in-laws in Florida over New Years and noticed these beautiful marble turtles!! She actually had business cards and gave me one. There was a large turtle,and a bunch of little ones, and some coming out of the eggs!! Very cute
