Hi Allen,

Only pro's in my opinion. My husband and I have stayed at the Alamanda for the last 3 trips and have always had a great vacation. The beach is only steps away and there are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance in the village square behind the hotel. We always get a car which they will bring right to the hotel (if you don't rent at the airport), which is a necessity for exploring the island. We have never had any complaints about the hotel or staff and wouldn't consider staying at any other hotel on the French side.

Have a great time!

Only pro's as far as I'm concerned which is why I'm returning to Alamanda again. Hotel staff was very friendly, hotel is clean, nice size room and balcony. Nice pool. I like having a bar in the hotel and also breakfast served daily. Plenty of parking, small libary in main lobby where you can "borrow" a book. Also computer. There are now 8 restaurants to choose from in Orient Village in addition to Cafe Planation, L'Astroble and Bikini Beach may or may not be open for dinner depending on the time of year you are visiting. Very enjoyable small hotel.
