Delta Flights

We are flying in from Boston in April 07. Has anyone had any issues with Delta? The price is the best I have seen and we have been to the island 5 times.

We've flown Delta from NY in Dec. a few years back with a stopover in Atlanta. No problems at all. Had a great deal but haven't seen any since. Cost now is over $1000pp for the same dates AA is offering at $540pp.

Flew Delta to SXM BDL ATL SXM and return in February.

They cancelled out outbound flight, two weeks later cancelled the inbound flight. Cancelled half flight, but not the other half. It was a mess. Spent hours calling and emailing resort, rental car etc to see if they could accomodate the changes. Repeatedly.

If I can avoid it in the future, I will.

We purchase for April $479.00/pp thru Atlanta. Is the departure fee in the ticket price?

Yes Delta includes the fees in the ticket price. We've flown them for the last 2 years with no problems.

Beside them putting our whole planes luggage on another flight and another planes luggage on ours on the return flight, eveything was fine.

Flew Delta in July '06, mci-atl-smx. We were on time and treated very well.
