New Pelican Resort Timeshare Owners Email Forum Established

I have established a new weekly email forum for timeshare owners of Pelican Resort.

This list -- like the one originally established about 10 years ago by Larry Schnitt -- will act as a "forum" for the distribution of owner comments about all aspects of the resort.

The new list will have no bias toward or against either Pelican, or TAPRC (the tenants association), or Royal Resorts. The difference between this list and Judy Young's list is that the moderator of this list (me) is not on the TAPRC Board and as a result, will not give readers Board feedback to any questions. Members of the Board and RRG people are welcomed to subscribe and offer comments, however; it's an open newsletter.

The new newsletter will contain no for rent or sale ads. It will have a web page, [jmbcommunications.com] , but that page (though active) is not currently in use. The newsletter will be free. It will carry all email sent to it except that which the moderator believes could be interpreted as libelous or obscene. "Fair comment" is allowed; see the definition at [dictionary.law.com]

[jmbcommunications.com]? ; you must select "Pelican Resort Timeshare" under "Choose a list." You must also respond to a signup confirmation email, which ensures that you signed up and someone else didn't sign up for you.

N. B., this is "not" a Pelican "newsletter." This is a new Pelican weekly "email forum" which publishes only letters from its readers. We won't start publishing until we have at least 25 readers, which should be quick. An online archive will be available of all issues.

A timeshare purchase is never a good idea. Some people buy them with the idea of a financial investment, but a timeshare is not a good investment at all. Besides, there are lots of fees involved.
