Mobile Connect/ Wireless Internet

Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to have a wireless internet connection on St. Maarten with a laptop. For example tru GPRS or something like that.

Maybe you can help me find a telco that offers suchs services on St. Maarten

Neils,

There many wifi hotspots on the Dutch side. Shrimpys, Sunset Beach Bar, Maho area are a few. I brought my laptop last November, and it was great being connected to the web. If you have a wireless card for your laptop, or in it, you'll pick up a signal.

Thanks for the information very usefull, but not what i am looking for.
I want to be able to internet without a wifi hotspot around.

Here we do that tru GPRS/UMTS/G3 mobile phone data tech, is there a mobile telephone companie on St. Martin i could call ?
