The island's national flower is hibiscusis (sp), the same kind you find in any US flower shop or home depot. Go go google, type it hibiscusis (get reprimanded for your spelling..) and there should be plenty of pictures.

Not sure, but I'm pretty sure the flag is somewhere on the main page for this site.

Someone else will come allong this site pretty quickly with the rest of what you need. Good luck on your social studies report, kid...

Suggest you take the boat over to Marigot and visit the libraries on both sides.

I'm pretty sure that the National Flower of St Maarten is the Yellow Sage, not the hybiscus.

this island is so beautiful and the water her is so clear and all people of surigao want to go theire and see how awsome is this place...
