Can anyone tell me about the Seaman's Club. I have heard people mention it and I have saw pics of the outside, but don't have a clue as to what it is. ???

I've been going to SXM since 1978 and can proudly tell you I've never been there but have been told about it. It, like the Defiance Haven Hotel in Defiance (wherever that is), is a brothel. The local officials try to look the other way except when someone gets beat up or robbed there, then there's a brief period of excitement.

Weird. I never said "lemonade stand" -- I said brothxx but it came out as "lemonade stand." I love computer technology!

Defiance Haven ( as a hotel rep and eager to take on new clients). Well, I, in my naive condition, called and set up an appointment. Well, the Madam....oops.....manager......asked me to pay them a visit. I drove up and down the street many times and couldn't find them .....then I saw a gated driveway ( open) but opted not to go in because it looked strange. Then......curiosity had the best of me and I went in there. What a shock! Not that the inside decor revealed anything.......hehehehe.......However, After the initial 'interview process' I decided NOT to represent them! Geez...I wonder why!hehehe
