steaks are allowed in but we do ahve great steak places here.

Lot's of good places in Simpson Bay. Some more expensive than others. Jimbo's (tex-mex), Tutta Pasta, Uncle Harry's, Halsey's, Lee's etc. Buccanneer Beach Bar, Saratoga (expensive) Where's Ivan..........

Yes, you can bring steaks. This will be our 6th or 7th time coming this year and we will be bringing some meat as well. We are even considering bringing a small crockpot. That we will leave there.

We used to bring in quite a bit of food. Either we could not find things or they were expensive. We spend about 5 weeks total so we don't want to eat out every night. Over the years we bring less and less. We are older and don't want to lug so much. Overweight luggage is expensive, and most importantly we can now find most everything. Beef, pork, and chicken aren't much more than at the States. Veal and lamb are expensive on the island. If you hit a great sale bring some meat but a lot is very available.
