Does anyone know the zip code for the Dutch side of St. Maarten? (particularly cole bay) Thanks!

i don't think there is a so-called ZIP code. we have friends in St. Maarten and the
rest of their postal address after the street address is
Dutch Quarter L.P.Q.
St. Maarten N.A.

Can you tell me if any freight carriers, Fedex,UPS, etc. service ST Maarten. I would like to send my luggage ahead, and just carry a small carry-on, so my connecting flts. won't be an issue.

I'm certain that FedEx, UPS and I believe DHL all service the island. Be prepared, though, for the sticker shop when you look into shipping your luggage.
One year we thought about helping the Easter Bunny by shipping some baskets and special treats down - and after I found out the price of shipping a ten pound carton at International rates I decided the Easter Bunny must shop on the island, too. This was many, many years ago when it was far more difficult to find certain items and I can't even begin to imagine what those rates are today.

I shipped a small portable DVD player to a friend in Cay Bay last year, and it was over $25. Like Ray stated, be prepared, it's very expensive. Might be cheaper to purchase a plane seat just for the luggage!! Just kidding!!

I will be moving to st. marrten in 2 months, anything important i should know or expect before i get there.

There is a "postal code" for the FRENCH side 97150.

As previously stated...there is NO postal or zip code for the Dutch side.
