A Few Shots for the 4th.

Hey!

An extra large coverage shot from the SONESTA MAHO roof, approach traffic over MAHO and an overview of the runway extension. New road I believe will be at the edge of the lagoon.

Have a great 4th. Holiday and enjoy...rip away !

Oh my goodness, these are simply amazing and just beautiful, Den.

I am an airport/aircraft fan and love watching plane landings and take-offs all over the world wherever I happen to be (including my own city) so you can imagine my appreciation for these.

Not only is the subject matter ace, but your photography is excellent too - composition and clarity. Did I mention I'm also a budding amateur photographer ? lol !

Thanks a mill.

M.

PS More would be great whenever you have the time ! winking smiley

Happy 4th! I'm sure you're celebrating in style!

coco......Check out the PJIA website. As far as I can determine about 400 feet will be added to accomodate the safety zones at either end of the runway 10/28.

The 200' blocks will be marked out and then all existing markings and lighting will be moved. So....it looks like the lagoon filling project and road change will add 400' making 10/28 about 7600 feet in length.....a mile and a quarter .
