How about about what these areas look like now. PLEASE be representative of what the island has become.

Do Not lure people to the island based on what is WAS.

Place cursor over PB pic. Click box that than appears below pic. You can select multiple pics. Then go to bottom of page and click "generate HTML and IMG code". Then copy & paste code for what you want (either clickable thumbnails or images for mssg board would be good). Paste code into your post here. Preview to make sure it worked. Easy!

To Reality Please...I am not sure you understand what is going on here and so I will explain....there are some wonderful people here who are testing our knowledge of where places are, based on vintage photos. This is more like a detective game and not an advertisement for coming to the island. If you have any grievances, might I suggest you visit TTOL where you will have a bigger audience.

DID YOU READ THE TITTLE OF THIS POST????? IT SAYS "SOME MORE OLD PICTURE" !!!!!!!! Nothing says that we are trying to "lure" people... it is very clear that those are pictures of he PAST! If you don't like those posts, well, just don't read them and/or move to another forum more appropriate for your state of mind and STOP TROLLING THIS ONE! I am getting tired of your eternal negative comments and provocation on this board, sincerely!!!!... Some people asked to see some old pictures and that's what we are doing. Now why don't YOU post some actual pictures of those area yourself???

I seem to remember awhile back that someone posted some "Then & Now" photos.
It was amazing to see the changes.
Anyway, I really love the "back in the day" pictures.

I DID IT....Thanks Andrea. Now I just have to look for hard ones.

tHIS could only be Mullet Beach but a long time ago and I'm thinking probly befor the resort there was even built.

The last pic in the original post is Dawn Beach. I used to have it in the sig box. Looking at the pic is almost like being there.

Does anyone have pictures of Simpson Bay in the 80's. The Simpson Bay that was really a catch-all for all sorts of refuse? Everytime I drive past the airport I'm amazed that all that 'junk' is the foundation for what is there now....
Amazing! Also, of OB of the past? I have some, somewhere, but not of the Club O side which was different from the other side.
These pix are great! Of course, I've only been going since the early 80's so I'm not as much of an 'old-timer' as some of you!!
