Cupecoy again

We're coming back! My baby and I are making our way back to SXM and Cupecoy beach in May for a spur of the moment trip. Well, the decision to go is spur of the moment, now we have to wait until May until we can sink into the Cupecoy sand.

We have a studio at the Sapphire Beach Club and since this is not our main vacation of the year, I have a couple of questions. We'll be doing things as inexpensively as possible when we get there, We're happy to cook for ourselves and intend to spend all our time on the CO part of the beach. I wonder, in that case, if we would need a car for all of our time there? Last trip, we drove from Beacon Hill, so I have no idea how far it is on foot from Sapphire BC to the west end of the beach. Is it a walkable distance? Can we get a taxi to Grand Marche for groceries?

Ideas, pointer, suggestions would be really appreciated.

Walking to the beach will be no problem - in the daylight! Bill does it all the time from our home just up the road.

Yes, you can get a taxi for your groceries. The front desk can arrange one for you.
