SENIORS.......
You gotta love 'em! $1.99SPECIAL! We went to breakfast at a restaurant where the 'seniors' special' was two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast for $1.99.
'Sounds good,' my wife said to the waitress. 'But I don't want the eggs.'
'Then, I'll have to charge you two dollars and forty-nine cents because you're ordering a la carte,' the waitress warned her.
'You mean I'd have to pay for not taking the eggs?' my wife asked incredulously.
'YES!!' stated the waitress.
'I'll take the special then.' my wife said.
'How do you want your eggs?' the waitress asked.
'Raw and in the shell,' my wife replied. She took the two eggs home and baked a cake.

I'm surprised that the Senior Members where I work haven't thought of that one!

Life is not a child's game of follow the Leader. Instead, life is more about finding one's own purpose in life....your life's plan, and then making a positive difference on earth.

TRUE STORY; My dad and his brother, about 70 and 65 around 20 years ago, stayed at my brother's house in Dallas for a week. One day, he and his brother went to an all you can eat resturant. Being somewhat frugal, my dad asked the waitress if he and his brother could split an order. Needless to say, they didn't eat there .

Funny! True story, also, my Dad lived in Vegas. One time we went to one of thos all you could eat buffet's. I hate those things. Dad was in his 80's at the time but a character like you wouldn't believe. So, when we left the restaurant his wife noticed his bulging pockets. She inquired what he had. He proudly announced, " 24 cream cheese packages." She had a fit, and I was embarrassed, and said, "you don't even like cream cheese!" He replied, " ya, but there's some old people in the mobile park who do! So I took them for them."
He was a hoot and always thinking of others. So many more 'senior moments' like that, from him. He was very funny! At least we have good memories! thumbs up
