Happy Bay beach in St. Martin - Need direct route

My husband and I discovered Happy Bay the last couple of visits to St. Martin. Last time we noticed a car had made it's way there - as opposed to walking the trail from Friar's - does anyone out there know the route to drive right to Happy Bay as opposed to parking and walking from Friar's?

Thanks all - looking forward to revisiting the beautiful island.

Jacqueline, I usually am in Grand Case,and you can walk a path over the hill to Happy Bay.I think there is a local way to drive through a field to get a vehicle there.I understand there is somewhat of a crine-wave going on, and from what I understand it really is not a good idea to be isolated. Further research indicates there have been a few problems reported there.Hopefully,a local can update you better than me.It is such a beautiful place there and St.Martin is so great!
