yea, I was looking at that same info last night.
the thing that is different..so far at least.. is that Omar is not as strong as Lenny and so far will be a little further away from us....we hope
we'll see. the thing about Lenny was that it was a rain maker for SXM and caused some serious flooding, as well as more damage to the west facing shores.

I remember being stuck in Boston with friends when Luis was approaching. I was going nuts. MY friend said don't worry. The french side will get it worse, it's passing more north.

I know I know Barbara I always stupidly try to make a joke about that ... the problem is that I am alway over confident and over positive about this, and most of the time I am proved wrong LOL... I guess it must be my unconscient reaction to cover up my fear.

From what I gather most of the boats in Great Bay/Harbour are moving into the lagoon. If it hits from the South it will impact many areas as the winds do circulate. It would be interesting to know what they are doing with the boats at Marina Ft. Louis...possibly moving them into the lagoon through Marigot as well?

Busy here closing down the Restaurant and the Marina.... and taking care of the guest who will be stocked in their room tonight with pre-prepared meals and beverages baskets... But someone is making me crazy right now running all over the place, stressing etc.... Everything under control so far, and I don't think I will board up, since after calculation, the winds will be coming from the otherside and not from front of my house which shouldn't affected too much. All right! I am still trying to stay positive...

well, for those of us with interests on "the other side" we are NOT happy with Omar coming! Huh, Lenny was a once in a century storm. Geez, you mean we are already getting THIS century's storm? I sure hope not!!!!!!

We are over here on Orient Bay and we are making basic preparations...putting away loose things, etc. we are not planning to board up. Orient Beach is deserted, they put the chairs away this morning. Club O is sandbagging.
