The following article/advertisement is in today’s National Post, [shopping.nationalpost.canada.com] apparently The St. Maarten Save the Animals Coalition is offering a one week hotel stay to anyone willing to take a local cat or kitten, puppy or dog. To learn more visit www.sxmpaws.org.

SXMPAWS is a great organization. I do not see anything however on their web site discussing the St. Maarten Save the Animals Coalition or a free hotel week.

That's exactly what I thought as well. Maybe they didn't update their website to include this special offer. I did read about their caring and may send a donation anyway. I'm just a sucker for any living being with 4 legs... 2 legs...well that's another story....eye rolling smiley

I asked one of my friends about this offer. he is very involved in animal rights on the island. He knows sxmpaw, says it is a fabulous organization, but does not knwo of this specific offer.

Strange that it has not been in any of the local papers. Of course I may have missed it also.
