Gas prices go up .30 Dutch cents a litre as of tomorrow. That makes the price of gas FLS 2.50 a litre which is about $5.42 a gallon.
WOW! it's really scary! Prices going up..salaries aren't.
where does it stop?

That's right... Today I have to go to pay for my road tax on the French side! It's a first, since we never had taxes on cars there before, and of course I pushed it back, waited and waited... until the last day , which today, to do so! it's sucks.... I think the line will be long enough to keep me there all day long! GRRRRRRRRRR...........
As Far as gas price, well I fill up in Quartier D'Orleans, the yellow gas station on the way to orient and I pay in $ (it's 1 to 1) and the price is IMO lower than on the dutch side... I am also lucky to drive a Diesel, which doesn't consume a lot and which is also cheaper to fill up.

Kind Regards,
Philippe

Actually Gess is on your left when you enter Quartier coming from the Dutch side and going toward Orient. the one I mentioned (I am not sure of it's name..) is all yellow and is on the right side, inside Quartier, about a third of a mile before Poulets d"Orleans

Vinny I agree, I need a raise. Our gas in Nova Scotia goes up to 1.32 a litre tomorrow I think that is about 5.94 a gallon. Our problem is that most of that is Taxes for the federal and provincial government.

Vin....I'm afraid this is only the beginning....but it is better paying high gas prices...than being hit by one of those weapons of mass destruction!!
The prices will never come down....supply and demand!!

Cadisco has the cheapest gas on the island. I usually go the the fuel station in Sandy Ground by the lagoon. From my calculations, there are $0.70 / gallon cheaper than the Dutch side. Lots of cars are queued up all day every day. Must be for a reason.....

It's $1.34/litre in Ontario. Canada is an oil export nation, we pay more than the USto whom we export, and we have enormous distances to cover. If I drove the distance from my house to the other side of Toronto on SXM I would drown before I got half way there.eye rolling smiley
