hmm - well answer this (off topic) but as you enter the dirt road to Friars, there are old lights with huge glass round globes on them, and there is what may have been a resort??? was there ever anything like that there?

and my next guess is the dirt road that goes up behind grand case beach club, and the beach there? slow night - can you tell!!!!

Your next guess is right Kim... It is the road going behind Gd Case Beach club to Petite Plage!
The place you are talking about on Friars Bay was and is a private property not a resort. It was the estate of the Mallortigues familly (Gd St Martin/ Marina Royale/Glden Tulip/Cul de sac/etc...). IT was destroyed by huricanne Luis, sold, and someone bought it a couple of years ago and rebuit it totally. Beautifull location

Kind Regards,
Philippe

I still don't know where it is. Is it below l'Esplanade? Or on the other side of Grand Case?
