A couple Hotel Beach Plaza questions
Posted by: Andy (---.hsd1.va.comcast.net)

Will be staying at the Hotel Beach Plaza next week. Read somewhere (not here) that I might need to bring power converters. Is that true? My previous two trips I stayed on the Dutch side where no converters are needed.

Also, does the Hotel Beach Plaza have washers and dryers for guest use? If not, any suggestions for a nearby laundromat? What type currency do the machines take?

Thanks!

The french side, unlike the Dutch side, has 220 current so, yes, you would need converters.
sorry,I do not know the answers to your other questions.

I am no authority on this never having stayed at Beach Plaze or the French side---but yes they are on 220 and you will need a converter----if they provide a hairdryer-- it will be plugged into the rooms 220-- so that may be something you need not bring--- as far as washers and dryers-- everything on the French side would be 220---and you would not need a converter--to wash your clothes--- just some coins--AND since they are on Euros-- I have no idea what the coins would be---chbpod
