  The home, the locale and the staff are all extrodinary. Stayed here with a total of 8 guests. Rooms were magnifiscent, we cancelled two of our dinner reservations because the home cooked meals were so fantastic. We all would come back in a heart beat. Thanks to The staff for making our trip so memorable. Joseph A. Date of Stay: January 2017 TREATED LIKE ROYALTY! This was our fourth trip to Aurora. Our kids are teenagers/young adults and now insist on bringing their friends to this magical place. The villa is pristine and each individual suite is beautifully decorated. All of the amenities are up to date with wi-fi throughout the property. The staff will absolutely spoil you. There are 4 women: two chefs, a head housekeeper and a laundress. They are all incredibly warm and friendly, yet discrete and always professional. The best asset of the house is Margurita-the head chef. There is no better food on the island. Each meal on the picture perfect veranda is elegantly set with flowers and we never had the same place setting twice. The cuisine varied from traditional "Bajan" fare such as "flying fish" to delicious gourmet meals that reflect the blend of cultures of the island such as Shepherd's pie, curry, cheese soufflé, delicious bakes (a sort of Bajan form of a beignet), barbecue chicken, coconut cream pie, and pavlova for dessert. There were cocktails (the young adults were big fans of the famous rum punch) served every day at 5 pm with hot hors d'oeuvres. The staff was also great at packing lunches for us to take down to the beach which is a nice walk or a very quick car ride away. Just a heads up--there are two darling cats that have full run of the house. They are partial to Whiskas treats! We cannot wait to go back. Christine C Date of Stay: December 2015 LOVE THIS SPOT!!! Great house to rent with family or friends. Pool is fantastic. The cook is amazing. The laundress, maid and security guard fantastic as well. All furnishings are well kept and super clean. Private beach access at Sandy Lane Hotel with complimentary beach furniture. An overall great location. Private lighted tennis court on the property where we had many night tournaments followed by a relaxing swim. Brian P. Date of Stay: July 2015 AMAZING! This villa can only be described as Amazing. We were a group of 10. They picked us up at the airport. We were greeted upon arrival by the staff who cannot be described in one word. They brought us banana bread to start once we set in. The meals were better than any of the restaurants on the island. Margarita and Sandra kept us well fed. By the way Margarita makes the best rum punch on the island. There is no reason to overpack as they laundered and ironed our clothes every day. The pictures online do not do it justice. It is only minutes away from Holetown and the local beaches. We love this villa. Jim C Date of Stay: February 2015 FOREVER THE BEST VACATION! Barbados and the Aurora House will forever be my favorite vacation spot. I came with my family and my 3 best friends and they agree that it is incredible. The house is amazing with the best staff ever and a beautiful view of the ocean. It's perfect for children, parents, grandparents, really anyone that enjoys delicious food, perfect beaches, and fun water sports such as scuba diving, surfing, snorkeling, jet skiing, and a catamaran ride. The house is absolutely beautiful with a perfectly decorated interior and a wonderful all access pool and tennis court. Margarita, the chef, makes the best food that I've ever eaten such as her fish balls, pina coladas, and the coconut cream pie (Even when I'm not a fan of coconut).
