The villa entrance leads to a bridge over an oriental Koi pond set within an enclosed garden courtyard. The lounge and dining area (which easily seats 10) are open to the cooling breezes, the garden courtyard and the saline pool. There is also an adjoining TV room where you can relax with a little music, a movie or cable TV.
Upon your arrival you will be greeted by the highly skilled staff who make themselves available for you at the snap of a finger, while still giving you the space to relax and enjoy your Barbados getaway. Jasmine will make sure the villa is kept at top standard during your entire stay, while Chef Paul creates wonderful local and international dishes for you to enjoy. Whether it’s a fine dining dinner, extra towels by the pool or packing a to-go basket for the beach the staff at Alila are ready to make your vacation unforgettable.
The four large bedrooms each of which has an en suite bathroom, air conditioning and ceiling fan. Three of the bedrooms are found on the lower level of the property and open either to the pool area or the garden courtyard. The master suite, which encompasses the whole upper level, is an example of pure indulgence with an oversized double bathroom containing a lavish walk-in shower that leads out onto the private patio containing an amazing outdoor tub. The private patio overlooks the pool area and gazebo, with a gully running along the north side and views of the coast to the west.
For the truly outdoor dining experience there is a stunning raised gazebo that is reached by a wooden bridge over the saline pool, which is an infinity pool and an amazing 54 ˝ feet long by 19 feet wide.
The property was built in 2009 and is equipped with the most modern appliances including the fully equipped large kitchen with granite surfaces, iPod docks in each bedroom and security features.
With the open plan design and modern fittings, beautifully landscaped gardens, infinity pool and raised gazebo this property is a truly stunning tropical paradise. Alila also has its own private cabana at the Sandy Lane beach.
